Was It Really So Long Ago

End of the Month Harvest

Despite the relative neglect lavished upon the vegetables, I'm pleased with these results from the home plot. The potatoes are a variety forgotton, being as they are sprouting specimens planted some months ago from a supermarket packet and the cucumber from a donated plant. The carrots though, I have no doubt are Chantenay. The variety produces smaller roots which make up for a shortfall in size by being the most flavourful and sweet roots we've ever tasted. The variety even has its own website!
