Low tide

Looked at the tide chart before I went - supposed to be almost full tide - obviously it isn't. Turned out to be the wrong day I was looking at. So - no birds. Just the last of the water channels with water, and a couple of old mai mais. I don't know if that's what they are called in other places, but they are where people hide to shoot ducks. Not something I understand, killing things for fun. Not so bad I guess if they are actually killed, but so many are just injured and die a lingering and painful death.
