Drizzle

Today was dull and drizzly. After checking out of our Airbnb we headed to Ilfracombe to explore. We got out at the harbour and had a wander but it was decidedly damp so we made the decision to cut our losses and hit the road and head home. It seems like everyone else had the same idea and it was very slow going. A quick pitstop at Tiverton and then we cut across country to avoid jams on the major routes. Not quite the day we had planned but still we enjoyed our short getaway - could be our last if we all go back into Lockdown! Had a takeaway and started series 5 of “This is Us” this evening.
