Level 2 socialising

I can’t believe what a fabulously sociable day it has been.

1. A 6 mile walk with Val round the moor. (Very tired and sore by the end of it but it was lovely to meet up for a sunny walk)

2. A FaceTime chat with Chloe and Graham from London to discuss the latest Labour Party implode. (They know JC and think Starmer was too hasty)

3. A lovely distanced drink and baked potato with Linda (the friend I walked with yesterday), Colin, her son and his girlfriend who live with them since losing jobs in Edinburgh. (They are cross with Corbyn. ).

Linda has a talent for making everything look so pretty - candles up the path, pumpkins and fairy lights. They had a fire pit going and we were provided with blankets and a hot water bottle. (In addition I wore 6 layers of clothing. Despite all this, after an hour I felt chilly so it was just as well we had to come home for a grocery delivery).

I need someone to invent a vest that I can plug into an electric socket and then I’d be set up for a Covid winter.
