Branch down!

Tim and I both thought we heard a crack and a crash this morning - and he spotted this big branch down when he went for his bike ride a little later. Not a great photo - I just took a quick snap on my way to the post box this afternoon, to show him that it had been cordoned off.

Had a lovely text from my niece today - telling me that she'd made a recipe from my old student cookbook that I'd sent her recently, and that it was delicious. Bless her. Made my day!

Bit knackered today, and the weather was very uninspiring, so I didn't go for a walk, other than this five minute jaunt.
