Numb

Got out on the bike for a good ride. I had exactly the right amount of clothes on until I got hit by some particularly freezing rain on the descent from The Lang Whang to Balerno and quickly lost all feeling in my hands - it felt like my fingers were slipping off the hoods and brakes constantly, had no idea, couldn't feel a thing. Luckily there was only the fast wet descent of Kingsknowe ahead of me.

Made it home safely enough, if a little gingerly.
