Ant invasion

The pests for some reason thought that taking a swim in our kettle this morning was a good idea. No idea why they think it’s a good idea as the don’t seem to be able to get out and gradually meet a watery death.

The early summer heat continues unabated but there is some promise of rain over the weekend. We really hope it’s not giving us false hope as the dams that provide our water are getting very low.

Not a lot to report other than Gordon is almost at the end of his quarantine and is starting to feel a good bit better although his sense of smell has still not returned.
