Las Gatas From The Air

I have featured this Playa Las Gatas restaurant many times on these pages, but never before from this angle. Many times I have considered how to get drone shots of this beautiful beach, but always been dissuaded by the challenges involved. Today I encased all equipment in dry bags, then paddle boarded to a deserted part of the beach where I launched from the top of my SUP. Flew around a bit self consciously (turns out a drone is really loud during a quiet morning) to get a few photos then skedaddled before anyone else showed up. Now that I have done it once, I'm certain I will be back for more.
