That season

The Hallowe'en season is really upon us.  I said yesterday that none of the pumpkins sitting on doorsteps round here had yet been carved.  This morning they were, and kids have dressed up so many of their windows.  So somehow this rather wonderful web seemed about right for today.

Apart from that, not much going outside.  For most of the time it hasn't been raining, but everywhere is laden with moisture.  Added to which, neither K or I have been feeling too well today - no, I don't think it's C19, but it's certainly a bug of some sort.  Never mind, makes a good excuse for hunkering down until the next stormy patch has blown through over the weekend.
