the Wide Open

Firstly, thank you all for your best wishes yesterday.
40 years ago myself and 3 Uni pals started a golf competition between us called the Wide Open, we even have a dodgy plastic trophy. It has been played for many years since but with a break when our kids were growing up. The last few years there has just been Clive and myself as Steve emigrated to Melbourne and we all lost contact with Pete. We play over 3 rounds (making a golfing holiday when we can), our 1st round for 2020 was played at Forest of Arden championship course today and honours were shared over both 9's and the match so its on to round 2 on Monday and everything still to play for.
