Observed

Bailey was staring me out this evening as I was sewing. It's not like he hasn't seen me do it before although it is a while since. I was up fairly early this morning to see what was going on with the boiler. It had power and the heating was fine but not the hot water. Plumber texted by half eight and he's due to come and have a look tomorrow morning so it'll hopefully get sorted. With that plan fixed, I was able to get on with some work, ticking a few minor things off the list whilst Bailey assumed his usual Sunday morning routine of in and out of the garden and snoozing whilst I worked. More to do tomorrow but the plan is not to have to do too much (or anything at all) at the weekend - we shall see how that goes.
