Culture Clash

In my very limited experience traditional farmers tend to be function and practical minded, rather than having any frills,  Having walked past this barn countless times, I was surprised yesterday, and knowing both father & son. to notice tthe old beams incorporated into this modern barn, purely for sentimental / decorative purposes, I guess.

Enjoyed a 5 mile walk with my wife & dogs over ploughed fields, tracks and tarmac, which is my current limit. We did a new hastily planned route between Maplebeck & Winkburn.Bothe very blip worthy some other time.
