Halloween in Humshaugh

There will be no knocking on doors on Halloween in Humshaugh. Instead we have been asked to put pumpkins in our windows. Children will try to find them all. The accompanying adults will give treats when a pumpkin is spotted.

Mum painted one and I carved one.

It has rained for most of the day. I went out in the rain to pick up windfall apples. It was fresh and not too cold.
