Canvassing

A busy people day - so full in the morning there was no time to put makeup on! Stef, then some homeless friends, then Anne, then Claire...then collecting this canvas for Nate! He's been a bit upset at the lack of photos of him! When Asha was 3 I made her 3 frames of her with loved people, Nate regularly looks at them and asks where he is. So this canvas is the first of more...he's delighted. I'm also delighted because it was my local photo shop that produced it for us, it felt good to be able to keep that custom local. 
The kids and I made 'mystery muffins' this afternoon. Essentially it's where you have no recipe or scales and bung anything and everything in. Sometimes we have success, sometimes failure, but always fun! Pretty much every night 'mystery cake' is one of the things Nate says thankyou to Jesus for, ha! Today we struck gold and have had great success, the big chunks of chocolate we threw in had a lot to do with it...

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Chatting with Craig and co about Darren. Everyone's keen for a memorial service - Danny and I don't know how to do them!! We're going to have to think and pray quickly!
2) Nate's gratitude for this canvas.
3) Mystery cake fun.
