PRESSURE

Having understood that only the overall winner of the photographic competition in which I was recently a category winner would get a prize, I was delighted when this arrived the other day with a very nice covering letter from the Society. To be perfectly accurate, the barometer intended for one of the other category winners came to me and she got mine, but it did give me the chance to write to her and say how much I loved her photo, and I received a lovely note from her when this eventually arrived. Handsome as it is though, it doesn't unfortunately improve the weather but does provide a blip when the rain is belting down outside.
