Memories of Venice

This lovely Venetian lady always brings back memories of the magic of Venice. What a fascinating place. One wonders when we'll be able to visit there again.
Daughter P in New York had foot surgery yesterday after having months of passive treatment for a foot problem. Her Dr is confident of a good result, but it's a long road to recovery. Two to three weeks of keeping her leg elevated with no movement of her toes and only limited walking  with crutches. Then a boot for four weeks with intensive physio. I just wish I could beam myself over there. NY is so far away. Luckily she has good friends who are taking turns to stay with her. I am so grateful to them.
