Abstract Thursday: "Break in a Pattern"

Ingeborg has suggested that we create a blip with a break in a regular pattern for this week's AT challenge.

I hope this qualifies as I admit that the pattern either side of the break isn't perfectly regular.

Can you guess what I photographed? It's been tweaked quite a lot to emphasise the appearance but I've not distorted the actual pattern at all - even the break in the middle was there to start with.

Hope it's not too easy!
