Pause for thought
Doing some clearing out today and came across this paper knife. We bought it from a marquetry craftsmen who had a studio in the gardens of Dar Batha Museum, Fes. Made from cedar, walnut, lemon, mahogany and acacia it is an exquisite reminder of a hot Moroccan summer back in 2009.
To find it today seems a sad coincidence considering the events in Nice. Suffice to say that true Muslims would never consider resorting to knife crime.
Before the witch hunting begins it is best to remember that atrocities are committed the world over by those who purport to follow all religions, even by those who call themselves Buddhists (Myanmar). Atrocities are committed by those who believe God made Man and by those who believe that Man made God.
