Anti-climax

I spent quite a few hours and a couple of hundred pounds submitting an entry for a national award earlier in the year.  It was pleasing to be short-listed, but our entry was really strong and I had high hopes of winning.

We waited ten months for the virtual ceremony to take place and we didn't win.  Obviously it was a fix ....
