Red Sky at Dawning!

I was looking forward to being pampered today with a nice manicure and pedicure...however I woke about 6am feeling decidedly grotty. Not feeling much better by the time the alarm went off I had to cancel my appointment!

I did however catch the very fleeting sunrise when I succumbed to getting out of bed to get some aspirin to try to head off the incoming migraine. The patterns in the sky being broken up by the garden silhouette and ball of fire...some enhancements have been made to the original shot!! 

...and of course the warning was correct, it wasn’t long before the rain started and it doesn’t look as though it’s going to let up any time soon.
