DrMacBatts...
Today I met DrMacBatts and her girls down at Tyninghame beach. I've never been there before so that's another place ticked off my list and definitely one to visit again. Parking is a bit busy but worth the squeeze. The beach is massive and wasn't as busy as it looked given the number of cars around.
I didn't expect Pippa and Lottie to be so very different. Pippa would chase a ball till the cows came home and Lottie disappears to explore at any given opportunity. The one thing they both have in common are ridiculously long tongues! DrMacBatts is just as lovely as I expected and yet again, in meeting someone for the first time and you just slot in like you've known each other for ages was really nice. Blip is a special place and the new friends I've made are brilliant. I didn't notice if she had a ridiculously long tongue though!
We came across some random sights along the way... a whole crowd of bird watching photographers who just seemed to appear when we got to the big sandstone bench and a woman wandering along the beach pushing a bike. Not the best place to cycle.
After tiring the dogs out we came back into Edinburgh and had a late lunch at Brown's which was altogether very pleasant. Lovely day, great company and now I'm pretty much fit for bed. All that fresh air combined with a late night last night has done me in. Tomorrow we get to do it all again only we're going to the Portrait Gallery for some culture with FT and Pixel8.
Thank you for a lovely day! x
