2020 Wednesday — Mr. Fun’s CT Scan

I was included in the first few moments of Mr. Fun’s appointment today so that I could hear the technician’s explanation of what’s coming in the future for Mr. Fun regarding radiation for prostate cancer.

I’m not sure that my being there was of much importance; I got to give my input on what time of the day (approximately) would we prefer his daily radiation appointment to be.

While he was signing the release papers and before I was excused to return to the waiting room, I nonchalantly captured this photo. Memories!

We were told today that he doesn’t have another appointment until 4:45 p.m. Monday, November 9. That’s 12 days!

Mr. Fun asked me if we ought to head north to Cayucos tomorrow morning for 10 days and I was an immediate “Yes!” So, we’ll return on Saturday, November 7 (maybe Sunday), so I am extremely excited. Next post will most likely be from the Central Coast. Woohoo!

We thought we wouldn’t be going north until mid-December. Now we know that radiation will most likely finish sometime in late December. So this will be our last chance this autumn to be on the coast.
