going deep

Well the temperature was above freezing today, but the wind really picked up so it was still not very pleasant to be outside. 
Here is a Pygmy Nuthatch that took a seed from the feeder then went to the old peach tree to crack it. I think the seed went deeper into the rotten wood than the bird expected!
