Alstroemeria

Until this week I had only seen alstroemeria in florists' shops and bouquets of cut flowers. But this little beauty is flowering in our daughter's garden. Photos apart, I spent very little time outdoors again today; the wind was bitter.

This evening I had a meet-up on google-chat with nine school friends. First time I've done anything like that; great fun! Recognised everyone - though two 'girls' I had to look twice before I realised who they were. I've not changed at all, of course ...!!!
