It only takes 15 mins......& lot of RANTINGS

It only takes 15 mins of playing with my ball to wear me out. So here I am playing ball in Liberton Park. When I'm playing with my ball I'm completely focused and don't even want to play with any other dogs. Ann can't remember 'MollyCollie' getting so tired when she played with a ball. I guess all of us doggies are different but I got so exhausted today that I panted all the way home?!!

And in other news...................... Ann's been looking into how she goes about training me up to become a 'therapy dog'. I'm such a happy, chillaxed, little collie pup that she's sure I'd be able to bring some enjoyment into an old peoples home or a special ed school?!! Mmmmmm.............. unfortunately, apart from being a happy, chillaxed, little collie pup; I need to learn not to jump up at people that's one of my bad habits which might be possible and I've got to learn to stop licking people. Which might not be possible??!!

I've got a very long tongue and I am a very 'licky' dog. I never lick Ann because I know she doesn't like to be licked, but I lick all her friends. And obviously as we're not allowed to meet anyone in our house at the moment she can't even do any anti licking training with me. Lol!

Guess we'll just have to spend our days going on big long walks then. Not happy that it's pitch dark at 5pm though. This 'lockdown' seems so much harder than 'proper lockdown' in March because then we were at the start of summer and the weather was fabulous in April & May so my human was happy to sit on the balcony reading trashy magazines and drink wine in the evenings. And also, even though the humans didn't like it, they all just felt like they had to do their bit to help the nation. TBH Ann's at the stage of thinking, 'lets just get on with our lives'. We can't live like this forever. Obviously as Ann lives alone she is not bringing the virus back into the house and infecting anyone else. And as responsible adults, surely her friends should make a choice as to whether they feel comfortable meeting her knowing where she's been? This whole 'tier thing' is just crazy. All the kids are still going to school and are no doubt infecting their teachers. All the universities went back and the students are paying a fortune to be locked down in tiny rooms. All their learning is online so it's no wonder that they're all deferring their courses and leaving in their droves and going back to Mummy & Daddy.

Ann's got the 'test & protect' app on her phone but to be honest, the only place that she might be in contact (closer than 2m) with someone for more than 15 mins could be if she goes on a bus somewhere. And apparently in the Central Belt of Scotland we are only supposed to travel for work, education or caring purposes?? So we're guessing going on a big, long walk and jumping on a bus to come home, doesn't count as 'essential travel'????

Oh well, ho hum.
