It didn't rain all day..

..just everytime I picked up the camera.  So this was taken in the High Street in atrocious conditions.  Actually, although very 'Winchester', I think as a shot it was a little beyond both my and the camera's capabilities, but I was still quite pleased with it.  Large umbrellas do make such a good background for street portraits, don't they.

Apart from this, today was a day like any other, with the added delight of permanently getting either wet or dry.  And tonight we will be roasting a very good bowl of chestnuts picked off the Green and drinking mulled wine.  Now that I really am looking forward too!
