Incoming!

WildWednesday

The weather has certainly been wild - occasional sunshine with frequent heavy downpours of rain and even hail.  I took this shot of the goldfinches on the feeder this morning during one of the sunnier patches.

The gluten free Christmas Cake is currently in the oven and the house smells absolutely delicious.  I am hoping that we will get to see some family to share this with at some stage over the Christmas period, but with everything that is happening on the coronavirus front who knows. I am not feeling that confident about the way the numbers are going.  I know that another lockdown is unpopular in some quarters, but I can't see how it can be put off any longer (another 310 deaths today).  

I may have to try posting food parcels to those that were planned to visit but can't make it to us!
