Wide Wednesday - Animals

With today's challenge of animals in mind, I was hoping to find either coos or sheep on this afternoon's walk with D#1 and Minty. 

We spotted the sheep in the distance first, so made our way towards them, hoping they wouldn't take fright and scarper. Luckily, like coos, they also find Minty absolutely fascinating and stood staring while I got my blip, though some were too busy grazing to pay any attention. 

I don't know which breed of sheep these are, with their big ears, nor do I know how the large rock got there. 

While writing this, I received a call from my sister-in-law in Canada to say that her mum/the daughters' Granny had died peacefully last night, five days after reaching her 100th birthday. She was ready to go, bless her.
