Devastation !
On May 31st 2020 a terrible fire broke out at Thursley Common Nature Reserve and despite fire crews from three counties fighting the fire for 3 days, still150 hectates were devastated and around 200 animals and plant species destroyed. Many trees were damaged and had to be cut down. The trees in the distance are burnt and will be felled. Already some grass areas are showing signs of life again but much will take some time to regenerate.
I used a wide angle lens for this shot to try to show the vast areas of destroyed land, and this is only a small area. This is my blip for widwed.
Thank you Bobsblips for hosting.
