Beinn nan Oighreag
Or Hill of the Cloudberries. I continued my Corbett quest up Glen Lochay near Killin. I found an excellent parking spot high up an unclassified road overlooking the lower glen. The hill today is located between Glens Lochay and Lyon and is passed on the east by a old drover's route.
The walking was reasonable with a lot of soft wet snow, but light winds. The summit of course was in cloud so I was denied views across to the Lawers range or to the nearest Munro neighbour Meall Ghaordie. My route up the hill passed by numerous ancient shielings in the Lairig though long since ruined.
This pic is from near my parking spot, I liked the curve of the road. Simple things!
