Cramond Island

This morning after dropping the boy at school I drove down to the seafront and sat in the car for half an hour to read some papers, just for a change of scene.  Cramond Island was looking lovely in the low morning sun.  

I'm not surprised people want to walk out the the island (we have a few times) but the number of people who pay no attention to the tide tables and then need the coastguard and lifeboat out to rescue them is embarrassing at the best of times, and just plain reckless during these times.
