New sofa

Took the afternoon off and went into Chelsea to the Designer’s Guild to buy a sofa as they have big discounts in October. Of course although we’d been measuring up and flicking through fabrics choices we ended up buying the one on display in the shop.  It’s a lovely sea green and royal blue velvety corduroy, which we’d never even thought of. I love this shop and the staff were all so enthusiastic and attentive.  Obviously worrying for the future though. The person who helped us had only just come back from furlough.   Back home for episode 2 - it’s getting good figures though.  I just hope it holds up across the week.
