Teddy skins

As some of you know I co ordinate a charity knitting circle - for want of a better word which started in lockdown.

Today I sent off 29 hats and 22 fingerless mittens to Inn Churches in Bradford and tomorrow I am sending off 30 teddy skins to the Warm baby project. These will be brought to life by a dedicated team and then passed out to various places like fire stations, refuges, clinics and the like to comfort children in crisis situations. With the colour range here we are certainly showing diversity. I hasten to add I have only knit 2 of these, but I will be doing more to send off in the next batch.

Tomorrow I am putting together a mammoth delivery to go to Bradford Royal .

I have been blown away with the generosity of people, lots of yarn donations, lots of time been spent with the knitting needles and all for the good of those less fortunate. And not a footballer, sky news or any awards in sight, just honest human kindness.
