Godwit spotting

A glorious dawn, predictable rain, video meetings and a plethora of marine plumage summed up today. Walking down Brunstane Burn to the sea in the rain meant we encountered only three walkers and two dogs. On the rocks at the turn of the tide we saw godwits, curlew, redshank and oystercatchers while back in our garden we were pleased to see a thrush although the blackbird was less hospitable! All this before Autumn watch on the tv!
