Manège Mountain

A few weeks ago the people at the horse sanctuary south of us removed the post and rail fence from around their manège. My heart sank. I've loved watching and interacting with the various horses and donkeys in the arena. I was dreading that there were plans to turn the area into a car park.

Last week a huge pile of wood chips was delivered. Since then more deliveries have arrived. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they will be spread to upgrade the manège. I love the woody smell.
