Brassed off.....

A dry start so more cattle work.
Brought the Hereford bulling heifers in for their second BVD vaccine jag and a pour on wormer. Tried to use them to lure in some of the bulls from the road end field , but things didn’t go to plan so gave it up as a bad job.
So got the crew together and headed down the road to get the Saler x Angus bulling heifers in.
They followed a bag of barley out onto the track as they have been doing, but weren’t so happy trying to get them into the steading and loaded. Got there eventually though, and by 3 pm I had them all hauled home to a shed here . Just as well as it was chucking it down by then !
Mr Weir in to collect these brass ear tags as we are still having severe problems with them . Have used this brand for over 40 years with no problems, over 10,000 calves tagged, so don’t know what’s going on with this batch . Will see what happens next.
