Temple Footbridge

This afternoon we walked another section of the Thames Path taking in Hurley and Marlow. Built in 1989 Temple Footbridge is the longest hardwood bridge in Britain. The name Temple comes from Temple Mill Island which was owned by the Knights Templar. We arrived in Hurley (which had been re-named "Little Worthy") at sunset to find ourselves in the midst of filming for an episode of Midsomer Murders.
