Day 301/20. It's only the 27th October.....and yet

It's only the 27th October.....and yet our local DIY shop is already full of the Christmas tat.
2 months to go.... Is it just me?
Or do stores push their luck by ramming this junk at us earlier each year?
And who on earth would buy a blue or a pink Christmas Tree? (see extra picture today).
If it can shipped and then sold in a UK store for £8, I wonder how much the factory that makes this stuff (presumably in China somewhere....) receives.
