black and white....

with the colour version in the extra!  Had a meeting this morning with the church leaders in Livingstone organising training for the ECD teachers and the ECD committee!  Then drove 4 hours to Monze to visit the ECD centre there - we had 2 teachers, one left and now it looks like the other one might leave (they go for better paid jobs usually).  We have one new teacher who was really good with the children.  Its difficult to run a school when teachers keep moving but due to low salary this tends to happen all over the country.
So, I went to book into the guesthouse only to find that they had not any room for me...it was booked about a week ago!  They directed me to the place I am in now...its a bit more 'village' than the other one.  No lightbulb in the bathroom, no toilet paper, air con doesn't work just has water running down the wall, the door has a space of about a cm all around it - good for mozzies!  There is a mosquito net but more holes than net!  Am thankful its only for a night!

Tomorrow I will visit another ECD centre on the way back to Lusaka!
