Unlovely

Before it started chucking it down, I was trying to tidy up the garden. 

For all I know, this would be delicious fried in a little butter. But for some reason, there's something off-putting about a mushroom that's the colour of a faded bruise. 

And if it's actually a toadstool, that hardly makes it more tempting.
