Kipling's rock
I did the early morning shop in the town buying some brill, squid and mussels as well as all the fresh fruit and veg for the week. I began clearing the courtyard of weeds scraping away with a spade for an hour. After lunch Mrs TT and I went for our first acclimatising walk above the village and passed by Kipling's rock. Rudyard Kipling was a frequent visitor to the village with his sick wife for her to convalesce. He was one of the donors who contributed to the building of our church. Later six of us met outside at the Club de l'Amitié for our socially distanced French conversation group. It was good to meet up with friends again.
