Damp Dragon

A rather wet and overcast day here in Essex today, so no walk around the nature reserve on our way back from a little food shop!

But sitting in the back of the car I did get a snap of this sculpture that is in the conservation part of the town.  It's a viking ship sculpture that was put there about 10 years ago to commemorate the Battle of Benfleet which was between the vikings and King Alfred's Saxon Army over 1000 years ago at this site.  

Not up to much today as I'm struggling to shake off a headache, so am trying out some peppermint oil in a diffuser I recently received to review! AT least the room smells nice even if it doesn't shift my headache!
