Train set

A very quiet day. Needed as ever. 

We played - a lot. They are making up all sorts of games, the latest is playing holiday's where they pack up suitcases with all the things they think are needed for a holiday. Interestingly pajama's appear to be of great importance. It all gets taken to the living room and played with (and tidied up by me in the evening).  They also spent hours playing cat and dog (after finding a new dog lead in the house... wonder what that is for!) 

This evening they made a huge train track all around the kitchen, kept them occupied for ages.  This was after playing outside in the driving rain, deciding to take their wellies and socks off so that the tunnel they were playing with didn't get dirty from their wellies.  Love the logic. 

Evening spent at the computer working, it's quite nice after a day with the boys.  Husband fell asleep at bed time with the boys.  My bed is occupied by two children, husband and a cat right now.  Not sure whether just to give in and seek out another bed for the night! 

Today I'm grateful for
The boys making up all kinds of games and playing for hours so happily
Time to make a decent dinner rather than rush out whatever can be done in 30 minutes
Maltesers from Granny - left on the door step.  Very sad not to see her, but much appreciated (and partly eaten already).
