Happy new home

My Mum moved house today.
The move was originally scheduled to be this coming Friday, which, given the amount of spiders and cobwebs around the place, would have been perfectly timed for Halloween!

The old guy who moved out apparently apologised for not have time to clean; we are uncertain whether he meant as he moved out or over the last decade. It’s pretty grim.

We called round for an hour tonight to take Mum some tea. She asked me to take her a sandwich but that’s no good after grafting all day, so I took her some pasta bolognaise as I felt she would be better with a hot meal.

I’m hoping she will be happy there and not regret moving from a bungalow to a house with stairs. Only time will tell :-/
