Getting to the heart of it

This tree is beautiful and enormous and sits just outside our garden.  It belongs to the neighbour we tried to see yesterday and is really a magnificent specimen.  We managed to meet him this morning and had a good conversation with him about lots of things inducing the hedge which seems to be ok.  We also got invited to their annual party...

I sat in the garden this afternoon playing with the menus on my camera and hoping the buzzards would fly over.  Of course they didn't but I found lots of things I didn't know about on the camera.

It's only when you get to the heart of things that you realise how convoluted and interlinked things can be at times...
