The weather has been really miserable today and as I am still feeling under the weather, I dug out some old music from the bottom of my pile of piano books and had a relaxing hour playing. 

Last night someone on our local community Facebook page mentioned that Mars is at it’s closest to Earth for the first time in 15 years and was easily visible. I went outside to have a look and managed to get a reasonable shot considering I was trying to hold my camera still. I then zoomed in on it on the iPad and was amazed at what it was possible to see.
