Vital food source.

We went out this morning to post a letter and came home along the back lane. Berries are ripening and attracting the birds now. This really meets the definition of a berry - “small fleshy fruit found on plants.” Almost looks polished!

Watched First Minister’s briefing; lots of media mischief making re Christmas. Separately - lots of issues in Europe.

Out this afternoon for another walk - a towpath and public paved areas, a bit busier than this morning - but was fine. On the way back to the car the sun disappeared behind a cloud, the temperature dropped and the light faded for today.

Family well. And active. That’s good.
