A place in the sun

Yet another gloriously bad day today! I dropped Mrs M in town this afternoon and went for a quick drive round the Glengallen loop and tried for a couple of quick pictures. Not very thrilling, but at least the sun made a  fleeting appearance and lit up the town for a moment. On the left the Lismore ferry 'Loch Striven' is chugging in, the bare summit of Battleship Hill above her and on the right is the red sandstone Kilbowie House, with St Columba's Cathedral to its left. 

Sent out the results of our first competition to the members of our Photo Club today. I was very surprised to come first, something that hasn't happened in a long time!
