Still Here

Met up with Pete and Carolyn for a walk at Park.
The heavens opened as we arrived but we managed a 3 mile circular walk in sunshine.
Barry and Julie then joined us for brunch and to discuss a trip to Chamonix next September.
Fingers crossed ....

Later I took myself off to Hackney Marshes, a local wildlife refuge virtually on our doorstep.
The KF was giving a flying display up and down the canal but sadly not settling anywhere to enable a shot.

To finish off the day, a quick round at Stover. The adult grebe was fishing nearby without success but he/she did provide enough interest for my blip.
I don't suppose the grebes will be here for much longer.
