The redevelopment of the property across the back of us is progressing,
The roof is up and today they started to demolish the chimney stack between the two adjacent properties. I presume they chose a Sunday because health'n'safety don't work on a Sunday. Perhaps they just say a prayer and trust in God.

The islands of the Bass Rock, Craigleith, and Fidra can be seen in the background. At least we'll get a clearer view of these even if the roofline has been raised a little.
